Things
I enjoy are: my cats; my
guinea pig; bowling; swimming; fishing; science fiction; reading; writing;
drawing; watching big fluffy snowflakes drift lazily down from the sky
at 2:00am; air shows; Renaissance Festival; watching thunderstorms (too
lazy/chicken to chase a tornado, but I love to watch storm-chaser videos!);
photography; Tai Chi; music
(80's rock, New Age, Celtic); scrapbooking; board games; labyrinths; daydreaming
about my future inventions and future gardens; and collecting hedgehog
figurines, cowries, and shamrocks/Celtic/Irish/St. Patrick's Day items.
Some organizations of which I am a member: Wisconsin Aquaculture Association,
Feline Conservation Federation, Long Island Ocelot Club,
Phoenix Exotics Wildlife Association,
St. Croix Animal Friends,
Zoological Association of America. I am also a third-generation rockhound in the
process of figuring out how to operate lapidary equipment and deciding what to
do with 6 tons of rocks.
CREDITS: My original web pages (back in 1996) were created with
help from Windows Paintbrush; Paintshop Pro;
Randy's Icon and Image Bazaar;
good ol' MSDOS EDIT; HTML Visual Quick Reference by Dean Scharf,
Que 1995; Using HTML by Neil Randall, Que 1996; Pixelsite (defunct
website?); and Graphics by AIM (defunct website?). From 2000-2002,
I used Netscape Composer rather than writing raw HTML, except for the occasional
necessary foray down to DOS Edit. In August 2002, I began using CoffeeCup
HTML Editor v9.3. These pages contain tables, background images, and javascript
and have been tested in Firefox 2.0 (preferred) and Microsoft
Internet Explorer 7.0.
